Yadork the Unsettler

This one quickly evolved from a simple sketch of a sea otter, going really far south into weirdness. 

Yadork is a sea otter who has never been the same after recovering from an oil spill.  It may seem at first that he's talking to you telepathically, but you'll quickly discover that he has an avian interpreter who lives in the shell on top of his head.  The two live in a land where pollution of various sorts has killed off all but those who managed to adapt via mutation or invention. 

I'm pretty sure something this weird/silly has already been done many times before, but heck if I would know.
